Our Classes

Please note: we do not offer trial classes. You must register your child for the full semester.

We cannot provide refunds, transfers, or makeup sessions for classes missed because of illness, personal emergencies or events beyond our control.

Additionally, fostering a safe learning environment for our students is our number one priority. Therefore, Kitchen Table reserves the right to remove any student who is a part of a situation that presents itself as unsafe for that student, other students, or our team. No refunds or make-up classes will be offered to students who are removed from class for behavioral issues. However, the student is welcome back after corrected behavior.

  • This class is specially designed to encourage toddlers to explore the creative side of cooking. Their senses are used to identify foods through tasting, touching, and smelling. In addition, we introduce proper kitchen hygiene and advance children’s fine and gross motor skills through measuring, stirring, and kneading. They will be amazed to watch ingredients come together and become something wonderful to eat. Adult chaperone participation is required.

    Ages 2

  • Children will experience a fun, hands-on approach to cooking in this 1-hour drop-off class taught by a trained chef. We encourage children to try new foods while they create a recipe from scratch to take home and share with the family. By the end of the six weeks, your child will take home a cookbook so you can whip up the recipes at home!

    Ages 3-5

  • Children will explore recipes with a wide variety of fresh ingredients and learn how to make healthy, balanced choices.

Our hands-on approach to cooking naturally promotes pre-math, science, and literacy skills

    Ages 6-8

  • This class is especially designed for elementary-aged students who are ready to handle more mature responsibilities in the kitchen such as working with sharp knifes and kitchen equipment. They will learn to work independently and in groups to create a recipe to take home and share with family. Recommended for children who have participated in our summer cooking camps.

    Ages 9-11

  • This is a one and a half-hour advanced class for serious students in middle school looking to learn culinary techniques and knife skills. Each week will focus on recipes that highlight a specific technique.

Note: A waiver must be signed by a legal guardian.

This class is for students in middle school.

  • Cooking is a skill for life. High school teens who learn how to cook become independent adults who know how to eat healthier and save money. In this 1 and a half hour class, students not only learn basic culinary skills, like how to handle a knife and operate kitchen equipment, but how to read and write recipes, create shopping lists, manage a food budget, and menu plan.

This class is for high school students or advanced middle schoolers.

Notes: A waiver must be signed by a legal guardian. This class is not for students over the age of 19.

Summer Camp:
Course by Course

July 8-August 16 , $655

All weeks are SOLD OUT

This summer we break down the cooking process by individual courses. Each week will feature a different food category and we will make a savory, sweet, and snack every day based on that particular course.*

In this hands-on cooking camp we will teach students basic culinary skills such as using a knife and other kitchen equipment, how to read and follow a recipe, and work in a team setting. Our goal is to give your child kitchen confidence and develop balanced eating habits in a fun environment.

*The Just Desserts camp will only feature sweet recipes and decorating techniques. We will make a savory snack to balance things out.

All camps are recommeded for children who are serious about cooking. They will be making 3 recipes a day and we pride ourselves on running our camp as though it were a mini culinary school.

  • Breakfast is more than cereal or scrambled eggs. We will cook both savory and sweet recipes every day. We’ll start with the basics and work our way to more advanced recipes such as how to make the perfect omelet to a croque monsieur.

  • By the end of this camp, they’ll be ready to make their own school lunches! We teach basic techniques and focus on flavor combinations plus how to create a well balanced menu. We’ll take classic lunch recipes and show them how to spin it to make it more interesting.

  • All they need to know about planning a well-balanced menu and following a budget is what this week is about. They will learn how to make weekday comfort foods to elegant and well-presented dinners for special occasions. A lesson in table manners and how to set the table will also be taught. By the end of the week, they will be prepared to create and execute a meal.
