  • Farfalle with Italian Sausage Ragù

Hamburger Cakes

Baking together is a great way to start a Sunday fun day—and our latest Family Baking class takes it to another level. Under the guidance of Chef Karen and Chef Lena, you and your child (ages 8+) will create big burger-and-fries cakes, stacked with all the sweet fixings. They’re almost too cool to eat—you’ll definitely want to get pictures of these whoppers—but rest assured, the cakes are fully edible, delicious, and so much fun to make.

Rainbow Cakes

Saturday, July 11: 9–10:15am

Spend a fun Saturday morning with your budding little chef (ages 3–6) making and baking the most spectacular cake they’ve ever seen! Chef Afi guides you and your child step by step as you add color to the batter, swirl it together, bake, and frost the finished cake. Kids will thrill to the big reveal: the rainbow inside their handmade, tie-dye–style cake. It’s a class full of picture-worthy moments, made even sweeter by the pride of baking their very own cake at such a young age—an accomplishment they’ll remember. Registration covers one child + one adult, with the option to add a sibling or friend.

Tapas Night

Saturday, July 11: 5–8pm

Spanish tapas were made for summer Saturday nights. Join Chef Gill for an evening inspired by one of Spain’s most beloved traditions for dining, sharing, and socializing. You'll prepare a lineup of flavorful small plates perfect for entertaining and bringing a little extra excitement to the table, including:

  • Gambas al Ajillo (shrimp in garlic sauce)

  • Tortilla Española (Spanish omelet)

  • Pan con Tomate (rustic grilled bread with summer-ripe tomatoes)

  • Beef Empanadillas

Family Cupcake Decorating

Sunday, July 19: 11am–12:30pm

Calling all junior pastry chefs—and their cupcake-loving grown-ups! Join Chef Marlie for a hands-on, high-energy workshop where kids and adults have fun decorating side by side, turning ordinary cupcakes into super summer-themed treats. Each cupcake design gives a playful nod to backyard BBQ favorites, from hot dogs and hamburgers to summer pies and more. We’ll cover piping basics, practice with various nozzles, and use edible decorations, with tips and tricks from a pro cake decorator along the way. Each person takes home a custom box of six shareable, showstopping cupcakes with real summer wow-factor.

Knowing how to use knives correctly is one of the foundations of good cooking, yet many home cooks have never been taught the basics. In this engaging hands-on class, Chef Gill will cover proper grip, blade control, sharpening, safe handling, and essential cutting techniques. Knife skills don’t have to feel intimidating—with the right guidance and practice, they can make cooking safer, easier, and more enjoyable. Whether you’re building confidence or refining existing skills, you’ll leave with professional-level techniques you’ll use for years to come.

Cavatelli with Vodka Sauce

Saturday, July 25: 5–8pm

Don’t miss our latest handmade pasta night, this time devoted to one of Italian-American cooking’s most beloved pairings. Chef Melissa will guide you step by step through making cavatelli from scratch, shaping the pasta’s signature ridges and tender bite before pairing it with a silky tomato-cream vodka sauce. (Fun fact: As the sauce simmers, the alcohol cooks off, leaving the vodka to enhance the flavor and texture of the sauce.) On the menu:

  • Truffle & Mozzarella Arancini

  • Cavatelli with Vodka Sauce

  • Chicken Milanese

  • Limoncello Tiramisu
